Troubleshooting
Quickly Diagnose
Troubleshooting a dry box typically involves checking its basic functions and maintenance. By addressing these common issues, you can effectively resolve most problems. If the issue persists, it is recommended to contact professional after-sales service or technical support to restore the cabinet to its normal operation, ensuring continued protection for your valuable items.
A dry box protects cameras, medications, electronics, and documents from moisture damage. Over time, it may develop issues like ineffective humidity control, abnormal readings, power failure, unresponsive panels, noise, or overheating.
These problems often result from poor power connections, aging sensors, faulty components, or internal short circuits. We've prepared a quick troubleshooting guide to help you identify causes and make simple fixes.
Basic Troubleshooting Guide
If the humidity in your dehumidifier box cannot be reduced to the set value, please refer to the following troubleshooting suggestions:
● Check if the humidity setting is too high. If the setting is too high, please adjust it to a lower value as needed.
● The humidity sensor may be damaged during transportation. If the humidity display is abnormal, it could be due to a collision or other external forces causing a malfunction. Please contact the manufacturer to replace the sensor.
● The storage space may be too crowded, leaving insufficient space for the dehumidifier to absorb moisture. Remove any items blocking the moisture intake and ensure the dehumidifier’s ventilation openings at the back have adequate airflow.
● The dehumidifier unit itself may be faulty. If the above causes are excluded and the device still cannot dehumidify properly, it is recommended to send the device back to the manufacturer for inspection.
● If you still have questions, please contact our customer service for further assistance.
What should you do if the power indicator light on the dehumidifier box is not on?
● Check if the power plug is securely connected. If unsure, unplug it and plug it back in.
● Check if the internal fuse of the dehumidifier box is blown. If damaged, please contact the manufacturer for repair.
● If there has been a recent power outage, the humidity display may not have changed due to the outage. Please wait until power is restored and check if the indicator light turns on normally.
● If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please contact our customer service for further assistance.
What should you do if the temperature/humidity display on the dehumidifier box is flickering?
● Check if the connection of the main panel signal is normal. If loose, reconnect it.
● If you need to reset the dehumidifier or notice any abnormalities, press the “RESET” button. This will restart the dehumidifier and return it to normal operation.
● If the issue persists, it may be a malfunction of the dehumidifier unit or the panel. It is recommended to send the device back to the manufacturer for repair.
